I composed my comment in a .txt file as I read so I ended up reading the author's notes after it was all already composed. Lol. I don't think you took too many liberties (that I noticed anyway) that were more than amusing and they only caught my attention because I'm a nut. (Good AAA alternatives are Durham<--best, Richmond<--where the Braves were before Gwinnett, and Salt Lake<--Angels AAA).
I'm always so self-conscious about the things I write about baseball because I want to write it so that it makes sense on a logical playable level but also so that it captures exactly the way that it makes me feel. Which means it has to have lots of fast-paced action but also the PERFECT verbs to describe what the plays and just the right adjectives for the players and that's so hard. I think you did a spectacular job with it.
