I am really enjoying this series. The grief is palpable and realistic - and the reaction to what happened is likewise real, anger and desperation and guilt. There's nothing hopeful about their reaction; it's more of a way of punishing themselves than offering true comfort...

I could wax about this for several paragraphs but it's late and I'm, well, spacey. But I didn't want to let this second story in the series pass without saying something.

It was lovely and quite the gut punch.
