TNverse Master List

The TNverse is a series of Supernatural AU one-shots revolving around Dean and Jo. The story diverges from canon after the events of No Exit (2.06). This was my first major foray into the world of SPN fanfiction, so be gentle as you read them. Stories are listed in chronological order according to the series, not in posting order. Some work better as standalones than others.

Promise
[Dean/Jo; PG] They were headed back out west, maybe to Nebraska or Nevada or some other equally dry and dull state in the middle of nowhere. Dean was not looking forward to it, especially since Sam was insistent that they stop at the Roadhouse and try to make amends for the last time they’d seen Ellen and Jo.

Forget-Me-Not
[Dean/Jo; PG] It had been a long time since he’d tried courting a girl – really, he’d only done that once, and Cassie rejected him when he told her the truth.

And the World Was Better For This
[gen; PG-13] They’ve been searching for weeks, chasing after every false lead, one or the other of them always on the phone with Ash, looking up coordinates, checking news reports.

My Empire of Dirt
[Dean/Jo; R] By the time they arrive back at the Roadhouse, Jo is bone-weary and Dean looks as if he hasn’t slept in weeks. Ash is waiting for them, and he takes in the two of them with one glance before looking down and away.

The Apartment
[gen; PG] The apartment had clearly been unused for months, dust accumulating on the old drop cloths laid across prim settees and luxurious beds by the building’s owner.

Kate
[Dean/OFC; PG] They always compliment the car, but this time, she sounds like she actually knows what she’s talking about, and Dean can’t help but feel a surge of pride when he tells her, “She’s got a V-6 engine. Reworked it myself about five years ago.”

Talkin' Bout Love
[Dean/OFC; PG] And then one night, she's off work early and walking down the street to Joe’s and there it is. A remix of "Kate."

The Bile Rising From Your Guilty Past
[Jo/OMC; R for sex] She knew it wasn’t love, not by any stretch of the imagination, but she moved in with him three weeks later anyway. It wasn’t perfect, but it was the closest thing to happiness Jo had had in a long time.

Play Your Memory Like the Piper
[Dean/Jo, PG] She’s pulling back on the pool cue when she feels a hand on her hip.

Empty
[Dean/OFC, Dean/Jo; PG] When he arrives at the Roadhouse, he knows immediately that something is not right. The place looks like it’s closed – it always looks that way – but there’s something off about it, like something (or someone) is missing.

Full Circle
[Dean/Jo; PG] She laughs bitterly. “Yeah, because every girl wants to be left with a mullet-haired drunkard in a ratty little bar just outside Nowheresville, Iowa.”

Two Lost Soles
[Dean/Jo; PG] "Nightmare?" he asked softly after a moment.

And It's Really Good To See You
[Dean/Jo, Dean/OFC; PG] Jo turned back to the doorway to look at the intruder. The girl was tall and pretty, with dark wavy hair. She was blushing, Jo noted with a small amount of satisfaction.

The Visitor
[gen; PG] Dean and Jo receive a late-night visitor on Christmas Eve.

Let's Hope It's a Good One
[Dean/Jo; PG] New Year's Eve with Dean and Jo.

Leaps and Bounds
[Dean/Jo, PG] 47 sentences that chronicle the lives of Dean and Jo.
